BaoBao Singalong in the Park 

The most anticipated Mandarin singalong class is back in-person this summer!

Summer 2021: June 14 to Aug 7, 2021 (8 weeks)

Class Location: Washington Market Park

Class Schedule: Tuesdays at 9:30 to 10:15am

Class Dates: 6/15, 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3

A full immersion 45-minute Mandarin & Music class. Our lively musical curriculum will be taught only in the target language Mandarin by the teacher. Sing along with your child to the original songs produced by Mandarin Seeds covering fun and age-appropriate topics loved by children! While we sing together, we will also play with instruments, explore topic key vocabulary, learn rhythms, and move our bodies! 

Families will receive a digital link to all the songs taught in the semester. All our teachers are native Mandarin speakers who have completed the intensive training and certification program by Mandarin Seeds. Background in Mandarin is not required.

We highly encourage you to purchase our BaoBao Fun Kit that can be added to your registration for only an additional $30 fee! The kit includes one Mandarin Seeds Original BaoBao plush toy (a $30 value!), scarves, instruments and our in-house created props that may include counting sticks and vocabulary cards. *You may also choose to bring your own instruments and make your own props for the class.

Class Policy:

• Missed classes may be made up online based on availability only within the same week and not guaranteed. Please email [email protected] to schedule a makeup class.

• Any sibling older than 6 months old must pay for a spot to attend the class. Only babies under 6 months old can attend the class for free with a registered sibling. 

• In the event of poor weather, the class will be switched to a 45-minute special online class. We will notify you by 9am for the morning class.

Health & Safety Agreement:

• A caretaker is required to stay with the child in the class and supervise the child at all times. 

• Both the grownup and the child must be 100% healthy without any symptoms to attend the class. Anyone with suspected symptoms will be asked kindly to leave the class.

• Everyone over the age of 2 is required to wear the face mask at all times.

• We will provide sanitizer on site for anyone to use. It is perfectly okay to use your own as well. 

• We highly recommend bringing your own picnic blanket to sit in the park! 

• If you have purchased our BaoBao Fun Kit, please bring it to every class! You are also welcome to bring your own instruments and props.

Cancellation Policy:

• $50 cancellation fee will be charged for all withdrawals.

• Last date to request a refund is June 11, 2021. 

• Due to these unusual circumstances when each class is limited only to 6 spots, please understand that we have a strict NO REFUND policy after the deadline June 11, 2021.
